Everything lags or freezes during my session

First work out which of two problems you have — they have different fixes.

Network lag — everything floats, the image breaks up or pixelates. This is a connection issue: work through 6.2 → “How do I improve my connection?”

Slow application — the interface responds normally, but rendering or processing takes a long time. That’s the software’s workload, not your connection.
