What is Aristeem, and what’s the difference between Work and Play?
Aristeem gives you a powerful computer that runs on our servers and streams to your browser. There are two products, and they are built for different things.
Aristeem Work is a personal Cloud PC: a full remote Windows machine with administrator rights, where you install and run professional software yourself — 3D modelling, CAD, video editing, rendering, development.
Aristeem Play is cloud gaming. You don’t get a desktop to manage: you pick a game from the Game Library, a session starts, you sign in to your game store and play.
| Work | Play | |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | A full Windows PC | Games from our library |
| Install your own software | Yes | No |
| Play games | No | Yes |
Games cannot be installed or run on Aristeem Work — this is enforced technically, not only by policy. Aristeem Play is not a general-purpose computer.
One account covers both, and you move between them with the Work / Play switcher in the header. Each product has its own subscription, so subscribing to one doesn’t give you the other.
